It is an honor to serve a school community that celebrates learning, language, and the many cultures that make Glenview so special.

Welcome to Glenview Dual Language Immersion Magnet School. I believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed, and I am committed to creating an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

What makes Glenview truly unique is our diversity. Our Dual Language Immersion program gives students the opportunity to become bilingual and biliterate while developing a deeper understanding of the world around them. As someone who values language, culture, and lifelong learning, I am excited to work alongside our outstanding teachers and staff to help every child build confidence, curiosity, and the skills they need for future success.

Strong schools are built on strong partnerships, and I look forward to getting to know our students, families, and community. Together, we will continue to create a welcoming school where every child is known, every family is valued, and every student is encouraged to learn, grow, and shine.

Meet Roxanna McCommon

Ms. McCommon brings more than a decade of experience as a teacher, instructional advisor, and curriculum specialist, including leading districtwide initiatives in world languages and magnet programming. She holds an educational specialist degree in educational leadership from Union University, a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Memphis, and a bachelor's degree in German and political science from Belmont University. She is proudly an MNPS alumna and parent.
