At Glenview, students don’t just learn to speak and read in English and Spanish – they immerse themselves in a transformative dual language education. This approach ignites curiosity and nurtures cultural understanding, preparing students to connect meaningfully with the global community.

Children have a heightened ability to learn new languages when they are young. Research shows that children who start learning two languages early develop sharper thinking skills and tend to become better problem-solvers, more flexible thinkers and more focused learners. Not only do they become fluent in two languages, they also do as well or better as their peers in core subjects like reading and math.

Building Essential Skills with AVID

Glenview proudly integrates the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program to empower students with critical thinking, collaboration, and essential life skills. Through AVID, students set ambitious goals and cultivate the resilience needed to achieve them.  College pendants displayed in classrooms and hallways serve as daily visual reminders that college is within reach for every child.
