The "Lighthouse School"

Glenview Elementary is a diverse school serving a diverse community. We are an award-winning coordinated health school and we employ a highly qualified, friendly and welcoming staff. Our on-site Arabic and Spanish translators help our non-English speaking families feel comfortable at Glenview.

Students receive 90 minutes of dedicated reading and language arts instruction every day. Students also participate in Music, PE, Art and Computer classes each week. For even more learning opportunities, we offer Saturday classes and an English Language Reading Club.

Parents and families are truly partners in all we do. Parent nights occur throughout the school year to keep families informed about their child's progress and help them discover ways to work with their children at home. English classes, computer classes and volunteer days are offered either weekly or monthly. We give back to our families and community by providing two clothing drives that help families in need by providing school uniforms as well as other clothes. Computer help and internet access are also available to families.
